Penguin Monotype

This penguin was created using a reductive method of printmaking. Ink was rolled onto a plate and then removed in order to create the finished print. A photo was used for a reference of the penguin. The entire background was inked and then wiped away to create contrast with the penguin and to create a more interesting space then just plain white.
